Ideal for cutting standard vinyls as well as foils which tend to rip with conventional drag knife cutters.   *What is Tangential? Tangential cutters work by lifting at the corners of letters etc ensuring a nice square corner, where as drag knife cutters do exactly that, they drag around corners leaving corners rounded or torn. The advantage of tangential is you can cut detailed text such as Times Roman very small and very accurate.   The blade is fully adjustable for depth and also has an independent pressure knob situated on the top of the cutter casing.   Can accommodate 380mm and 406mm width vinyls (industry standard sizes) available from companies such as Spandex and Metamark. Max length of cutting at one time 10M (safely)   It’s unique pinch roller system can be adjusted for pressure via the two levers          (see pic) allowing the machine to take all thicknesses of material.   Also comes with a pen converter unit, which just push’s in from the front allowing you to turn this machine into a pen plotter as well.   What’s in the box?   DMP 60 cutter, 2.4M Power lead, 4M 9 pin serial port PC connection lead, Signlab driver CD, Manual, Pen converter unit, x 2 pens, allen key, x1 new blade x 5 re-sharpened blades.   Independent drivers for this machine are available on the net.   Cutter Size:   910mm x 350mm x 260mm ideal for desktop use or on a stand.   This cutter has had little use as we used it solely for cutting foils, before we upgraded to a larger machine, is in excellent condition.   This machine was £4,000 new 7 years ago.
