cane mill gear cover Golden 27 hit and miss Goldern 27 cane mill gear cover Start Price USD 50.00 Current Price USD 50.00 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Wednesday, September 03, 2008 End Time Wednesday, September 10, 2008 Location Gallatin, TN See more about 'cane mill gear cover Golden 27' Description This is a Golden 27 cane mill gear cover.  I think you can see the part number in the photo.  Now the negative for this part.  One of the mounting ears is broken off.  I bought this mill and I did not even notice this until I had gotten home and started to disassemble the mill.  This would be an easy fix by cutting out the bad edges and welding in a piece similar shpae to the original.  The peice could be made from angle iron.  Also one could use angle iron and cut out a piece and attach it with screws.  The third option would be to use it as is.  This option was what the previous owner was doing and it was working for him.  If you are looking at this I don't have to tell you how hard parts for these mills are to come by.  This piece is almost perfect with that one exception and if I were looking for this piece, then I would not even think about the broken ear. I will crate and ship this to anywhere in the US.  This is a heavy piece and with crating I think I could ship for about 25 dollars.  I have a couple of upper shaft bearing holders for this same mill listed if anyone were interested.  Thanks for looking.  If any questions please email me and I will get back to you.  I will be out of town some days coming up but I will try to answer any question before the auction close.  Place a Bid!
