One Ton per hour Commercial Pellet Plant $125,500.00  (effective 8/1/2008) until then $121,000.00 old price will be honored.   Wood Pelletizing is the process of converting waste materials in this case wood waste, into solid fuel. The pellets are used for heating in a wood stove or boiler. Wood is one of the most commonly used materials for making pellets, but by no means is it the only material. Wood Pellets can be made from any type of Agro or Forestry waste: Ground nut-shells • Sugarcane Biogases • Caster Shells/Stalk •  Coffee Husk • Straw • Sunflower Stalk • Cotton Stalks • Tobacco waste • Mustard Stalk • Jute waste • Bamboo Dust • Tea waste • Palm husk • Soybeans husk • Coir Pitch Barks• Rice Husks • Forestry wastes like limbs and tree tops • Wood Chips and many other Agro wastes. So long as the waste is dry, between 13 and 17% and the  chips are less than 5mm in any dimension the material can probably be pelletized.   This proposal is designed based on the raw material being Wood Chips with diameters of 7 to 30 mm:   This plant is design for medium farm, small village or light commercial use. It is not fully computerized. It is to be controlled by workers who understand the process and operation of the equipment. It is designed to reduce your incomming feedstock to sawdust, run that sawdust through a sifter sorter and then a dryer, then through a magnetic separator and on to a pellet mill which makes the pellets and sends them through yet another sifter-sorter and then to a cooler and finally to a bagging and weighing machine. In ordinary use it should produce from 2000 to 2200 lbs of wood pellets per hour depending on your feedstock.    You as the customer are expected to provide a suitable structure with appropriate fire sprinklers, Electricity, Lighting, Heat, Water, Steam and Compressed air to operate the plant.  The structure must at a minimum be 44' long and 30' wide and is best if at least 20' or more at the eaves. The height can be shorter, but this means cutting holes in your buildings roof and that is not always desireable.    (1). Raw material feeding and grinding system - Sawdust can be put directly into the inlet of the screw conveyor - Wood chips may contain some metal impurity so we provide belt conveyor with magnetic filter device to get rid of such impurity, then the chips will be ground by the hammer mill.    Separate treatment of the raw material will increase the efficiency of the whole plant. DESCRIPTION OF EQUIPMENT 1. Raw material feeding and pretreatment system 101. Belt conveyor:  is used to transport feedstock to the hammer mill, with speed adjustable motor and magnet device 102. Hammer mill: To pulverize the raw material to 4mm or less. This particular hammermill model features an easy access door for cleanout, balanced internal rotor spinning on quality SKF bearings for long life.        - Balanced, and highly precise calibrated rotor      - Fan, blows the crushed sawdust out once it is small enough to move through the screen to the conveyor,      -  High crushing efficiency and highly uniform particulate size. - Anti-vibration supports   - Sawdust. Can be put directly into hopper of screw conveyor at the point where the hammermill would ordinarily place it.    103. Screw Conveyor: Conveys the sawdust to the mixer    104. Fan: Sucks airborne dust into the cyclone dust separator    105. Cyclon: Dust collector and separator.    106. Airlock: allows clean air out, dust particles remain behind.    107. Mixer:    Optional: If you only use one type of sawdust, the mixer isn't required    108. Bucket Elevator: Covered with rubber, it has a Belt deviation alarm and a belt skid alarm.    109. Magnet Adapter:  Filters iron impurity, which protects the ring die and rollers of the pellet mill     (2). Drying System     For raw materials with high moisture content, that above 17%, you need to a drier, this drier reduces the moisture content below 17% before feeding the raw material into the Pellet mill. This drier is fired with a portion of the raw feedstock. Plan on losing 15% of your feedstock to dry the other 85%. Material for hot air stove: wood waste, wood pellet, wood briquette, etc.     Principle:   In the dryer, a high-speed hot air stream suspends the wood particles in mid air. Because the air stream speed is very high, and material is suspended in the air stream, the heated surface area of each sawdust particl is quite large, thus the heat transfer rate is als quite high. This makes it peculiarly suitable for drying heat sensitive material like sawdust, rice shell, milled stalks etc. In the drying process, clean cool air is heated by the hot air furnace, and as it leaves the furnace it is mixed with the moist raw material sent by the spiral feeder. Moist sawdust is dried in few minutes. Dried material is then discharged through a centrifugal fan. Exhaust air is let released into the atmosphere.       If the moisture content of the raw material is too high, it may need several cycles of drying to achieve the nominal water content for pelletizing. Bucket elevator     (5) Cooling/Screening system After the pelletizing process, the temperature of the wood pellets is about 60-80 degree celcius, and the moisture content of the wood pellets is about 15%, so we use  a Counter-flow Cooler to reduce the moisture by about 3-4% while cooling the pellets to within 5 degrees of room temperature, this makes the wood pellets easier to store. Dry pellets don’t mold or mildew. There may be broken pellets during transportation from pellet mill to end packing system, thus we use a screener before packing, good pellets will stay above the screen, while broken pellets or wood powder will be sifted down and out, and conveyed back for a second grinding and pelletizing. No material will be wasted in the whole plant. DESCRIPTION OF EQUIPMENT in system 5    113. Air lock    114. Counter-flow cooler: is designed to cool the wood pellet to normal temperature. Cover and bin walls are Carbon steel with hardened glass inspection door with door interlock switch. Product distributor is stationary and adjustable Surface treatment: Antirust Coating and High quality white paint. Automatically closes the discharge chute in the case of a power failure.          Gyro screener:         Different screens are available.
