In 2001, Whaddat?com set the standard for entertainment sites out of Jamaica, since then averaging half a million hits a day, winning multiple awards (Top5Jamaica.com's Surfer Choice Award and Outstanding Alternative Media from the Advertising Association of Jamaica) and mention in international press including Air Jamaica's Skywritings, Japan's Strive and the US' VIBE magazine. Major event promoters, top recording artists and corporate giants alike use the site as their link to a market they wouldn't otherwise reach through local media alone, shelling out many thousands just to be a part of this w?orld. Whaddat?com is loaded with interviews, music, pictures and reviews from everybody and everything that is cool about Jamaica, in particular the increasingly popular Dancehall culture. The sole owner and Whaddat?com Ltd.'s Managing Director is also the site's webmaster, writer, designer and all round media darling, highly accomplished in the world of Jamaican entertainment media and sought after by the likes of BBC for her intimate knowledge in the field. A mother now, she is looking to go down a different path and would like to see Whaddat?com in its entirety handed over to a team who will continue it on its path to being Jamaica's portal online...
