Medical Braiding Systems Vertical Fine Wire Braider - K120- Series There braiders are workhorses for the medical Industry. They are used in the production of catheters, tubes and a variety of invasive and non-invasive products which need designed flexibility, stiffness, kinkability, torque and radial strength. The Steeger carrier design unrolls wire from a horizontally placed bobbin this enables braiding the most tension sensitive materials without coiling or twisting.    Braiding machines are designed to braid (knit) fibrous material into cylindrical, but not necessarily symmetric, shapes over a mandrel form. The braiding machine is capable of applying 8 continuous strands of material simultaneously onto a mandrel.
