It is labeled on the interior with the green MSA (Mine Safety Appliances) label. This hat is in awesome condition for being 60+ years old. It is so vintage that MSA was still putting stickers in their hats. They hadn't started stamping MSA on the brim of the shells yet. This hard hat is one of only a few I've ever seen in this condition. There is some minor discoloration and wear to the red USS logo. The lacework and internal head band are stil intact, but the head band is cracked and fragile. The chin strap is missing.The shell is in solid condition with no chips, cracks or breaks to mention. The top of the shell is slightly faded. Get this before somebody else does. This is a true find in vintage authentic American Bridge Company memorabilia. Thanks for looking, and happy bidding.
