Trellchem Vapour Protective Suit type T or TE is an cost effective chemical protection suit which can be used in both chemical industries, fire and rescue services and in the handling of dangerous goods. The suit is manufactured from Polyamide textile with an external coating of butyle rubber and Viton, and an internal polymer barrier coating. The TE type suit easily accomodates a breathing apparatus, and for safety reasons, the air pressure in the suit is higher than the ambient air pressure. The suit is equipped with safety boots with non-slip soles and pierce resistance, and the zippers in the suits are all gas tight. The hood fits closely to the user's head and the design and the shock resistant PVC visor ensure an optimum of visibility. The hood rests on the shoulders; thus eliminating muscle infiltrations in shoulder and neck. The suit comes complete with cloroprene rubber/ barrier laminate gloves, but the suit is also available with other types of gloves; e.g. Trelleborg's unique two part safety glove where an inner glove is attached to the suit ny means of a gas-tight ring system, and an outer glove which provides the same excellent level of safety and protection as the rest of the suit.
