Stretch Wrap Machine, International Packaging Machines Start Price USD 1,999.00 Current Price USD 1,999.00 Time Left 12 days 12 hours 10 minutes Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Thursday, October 23, 2008 End Time Wednesday, January 21, 2009 Location Detroit, Michigan See more about 'Stretch Wrap Machine, International Packaging Machines' Description You are looking at a used International Packaging Machine (IPM) Semi-Automatic Stretch Wrap Machine.  Model # 55M30 (120 volt single phase.)  This machine is approximately 20 years old and has been serviced at regular intervals.  It has 7438 cycles on it which means that it has wrapped 7438 pallets.  It has the capability of wrapping 25 plus pallets per hour.  But obviously we have never "pushed" her that hard.  It is in average condition and is currently functioning at our place of business.  During a recent examination I found no major flaws but noticed that the power cord was beginning to show signs of wear and should be replaced.  Also the side cover is missing on the photo-eye but this doesnt effect its operation.  It has a stardard sized turntable which is supported by 2 permanent casters and one 1/2 hp. drive wheel.  It is rated at 4000# capacity although we have never used it with that type of weight.  It is not meant to wrap pallets that are under 200 lbs. as they can be pulled off the table due to the fact that there is No platen to hold the pallet down securely to the turntable.The wrapper will wrap pallets 72+ inches tall.  There are top/bottom controls/counters to control the amount of wraps at each postion and also has speed controls for the turntable and film carriage.  The film carriage has an adjustable magnetic brake delivery system with a film tension control to control the amount of stretch and prevent the "neck down" properties of stretch wraps in general.  Everything seems to work.  It has an Allen Bradley Logic Board as its"brains" and most parts can be puchased locally "Graingers" or through their manufacturer NA Industries Omaha, Nebraska.  I can answer specific questions and take additional pictures should they be required. I also have several other photographs that can be forwarded.  Please send an email for additional pixs.   This unit is being sold "as is" "where is"  Local pick Up can be arranged or Buyer can pay for shipping.  We will secure this machine properly to a pallet.   No expressed warranties will be offered.  Please check my feedback on several large sales/purchases before placing bid.  We can arrange for "discounted" shipping to any point in USA.
