Description
If you are planning on getting a seed cleaner this spring - don't wait until then to order it - we get really busy then and have had to turn customers away and we don't like to do that. This is a three screen machine - two upper scalping screen and one lower for fines removal. Air blows through stream between scalping and sifting. The machine in the picture shows a motor. Motors are avaiable at an extra cost. Ebay's dopey rules won't allow us to post our website - just Google Farmstead Products. This machine will clean up to 150 Bushels per hour of corn or soybeans. Lesser capacities when cleaning smaller grains like wheat, oats barley etc. We have screens available for any seed. (The motor is not included but they are available for extra cost) Extra screens are $xx each, you can see our screen list by Googling our site. (Ebay's dopey rules forbid us from telling you how much those screens cost) We also make a 300 bushel per hour machine that costs more and cleans at twice the rate of our model 150HD. Check our website: by googling farmstead products.Caution - Look out for dumbells (also seen on Ebay) that claim that putting a two screen machine on top of a two screen machine will double the capacity. Duh, they are still conveying the same material over the same surface area. Their (blue) machine feeds the top two screens and then the grain falls on the bottom two screens - scalping screen, fines screen, scalping screen fines screen. And what is that top air all about? That does nothing, nothing at all. Our double machine places two of our model 150HD's side by side - we don't run one into another. So you get double scalping and double sifting. And ours is a 3 screen machine - 2 scalping and one fines removal. And that is what is required to produce certified seed. Their machine is a copy of the former Hance machine. Hance went out of business. We have been around for nearly 20 years now. Powered by eBay Turbo Lister
