These dryers will fill the bill and are very economical.   Fuel for the blast furnace: wood waste, coal, biomass pellets, etc.   Principle:   In these dryers, a high-speed hot air stream suspends raw feedstock in mid-air. Because the air stream speed is very high, and the temperature is very high, the heat transfer between air and solid is very high, thus each particle dries very quickly. As each particle dries it looses weight and rises in the air column until it finally moves into the next segment of the dryer. These particular dryers are particularly suitable for drying heat sensitive material like sawdust, rice shell, milled stalks of grass, hay, straw, etc. In this drying process, clean cool air is heated by a furnace, and mixed with overly moist feedstock sent in by a spiral feeder. Moist sawdust is dried in just a few minutes. Dried material is discharged through a centrifugal fan which separates the solid particles form the exhaust air which is discharged into the atmosphere. (i)The Water reduction per cycle through dryer models ATASD-I, ATASD -II, ATASD -III is 8-12%.
