It was completely operational when removed from service.  The cable that connects the two Duplo 12/24D towers is included and is attached to the secondary unit.  A cable guard that protects the connecting cables is also included. Operation manual, an extra wire spool and a box of small parts and components to the stitcher is included. Nothing else is included with this item. Item pictured is item received.
