Many of those machines were P&H-brand  power shovels. There was another crane, a twin with the number "NO.14291A that also shipped from the factory in West Milwaukee between 1929 and 1946. The "P&H" stands for  "Pawling & Harnischfeger" the company was founded in 1884.  P&H "football logo sign is a vestige of something truly great in the annals of America's heavy industial heritage.
