This auction consists of one Processall Tilt-A-Mix Jacketed Lab Mixer model 4H/V, serial number 191. 4 liter, 1 gallon total volume capacity, 2 liter, 1/2 gallon working capacity. Jacketed vessel can be used at ambient temperature, or can be used with an external source of steam, or heated or chilled water (external source of temp control is not included). Stainless construction. 316L stainless contact surfaces, 304L stainless steel exterior. Mixing chamber is easily removed for cleaning. Can be used with a detachable vacuum stack for de-airing (the vacuum stack and a vacuum source are not included - vacuum stack is available from the O.E.M.). The mixer drive system is Reliance Electric brand featuring electronically-variable speed drive controlling 2 separate 2hp TEFC motors via by a Reliance Electric brand SP500VS programmable drive controller. A user manual for SP500VS programmable controller is included.  ELECTRICAL: 230V, 3ph.  DIMENSIONS, on castors: Approx 35"L X 34"W X 41.5"H.  Weight = Approx 480 pounds.  CONDITION: Used, excellent.  This laboratory processor is rugged and flexible, it can be used as a sanitary mixer, dryer, or reactor. Multi-processing, including precision mixing, drying and chemical reactions, can all be accomplished with this equipment. Simple design of this mixer allows a wide range of tilt positions ranging from fully vertical to horizontal as needed for for granulations, mixing, drying, reactions, etc. The motor visible in the above photos powers the high speed chopper which allows for particle de-agglomeration. Manual tilt function: Our photos show the extremes of position range, there are also many possible tilt angles positions in between. In typical operation this unit would be tilted to vertical for loading, ...to horizontal or near-horizontal for process, ...tilted downward to facilitate discharge.
