It was in the sun for less than a year. Once i installed it i found all kinds of other things i wanted to poir, and realized that this unit was to small. i also wanted the network capabilities that this one does not have. This tracker is almost the same mechanically as the Solar Azimuth Elite GTP; the unit that i are installing now, except this one is analog, and the new ones are digital. This is a two axis tracker with one motor controlling the horizontal axis and the other controlling the elevation. The person I talked to at NPG said that the rack could be upgraded to a larger size, up to 2.5 kw with their Sanyo panels, but they don't sell the siemens anymore, and he did not recommend mixing the two. This would be perfect for poiring a remote communications system or a pumping system like i used it for.Fore more pics please email me. Just for clarity this is a complete photo voltaic system that provides 120 volt AC 60hz system that can be wired to a house and into the main poir grid it includes the panels, pole tracker, inverter and whatever other hardware it has on it. I am sending everything that came with the package except the concrete base mount kit because i are using that for the new system, and the shipping would be prohibitive.  This unit will feed poir back into the utility during peak hours, rolling the meter backwards. It can be set up as a stand alone unit with batteries, but that is not how i used it. Place a Bid!
