Provides years of dependable, non-fatiguing, effective operation. Patented, protective air cone is recognized by OSHA as an effective safeguard for reducing injury from flying chips. Features cast aluminum pistol style body with hanging hook. The Model 74S has a 1/4" NPT (female) inlet and a maximum operating pressure of 120 psi. Meets OSHA Standards The Model 74SK includes all the features of the Model 745 as well as a knurled adjusting nut under the trigger to control air volume. Air volume can be preset for a whisper or a blast. GUARDAIR PATENTED PROTECTIVE AIR CONE During normal operation, the main flow of air exits through the nozzle tip and full plant air pressure is avail- able to move and dislodge debris. In addition, a small portion of the main flow is diverted through slots around the periphery of the nozzle to form a protective air cone. This protective air cone helps prevent chips and other debris from "flying back" towards the operator. Should the tip become blocked, the entire air flow is diverted through the slots. Under these conditions pressure at the nozzle tip is held to less than 30 psi, thereby satisfying OSHA safety standards.
