Description
Up for auction is this new MOBILE BIOMASS PELLETIZING PLANT Up for sale is a model C22 mobile wood or biomass pellet plant. This Chinese made portable biomass pellet plant is usefull for pelletizing many different types of raw materials including wood, straw, ethanol plant by products, corn stalks, leaves nut shells almost any plant material. For those who don't know about pelletizing, here is the process in a nut shell.First of all, most any plant material can be pelletized. Wood, Straw, Hay, nut shells, leftover plant material from making ethanol, or Beer for that mater, any paper or cardboard, it all will make into pellets. The main thing is that it must be cellulostic, and most plant material is, it must be quite dry, about 15% moisture content, and it must be ground to particles no bigger than 5mm in any dimension. If the moisture content is too much or too little, you won't get pellets. The raw, dry, ground material is then crammed under high pressure into small funnel shaped holes. As it does this, it compresses all the air out of the material and the material gets very hot, about 350 to 400 degrees. Now this sounds complex, but it is not. Each Cellulose molecule is just a chain of individual sugar moecules bound at each end to the next sugar molecule by a material called lignin. The lignin will melt when it gets to 350 to 400 degrees and smear all over all of the sugar molecules, side to side, up and down. About this time the pellet comes out the small end of the funnel and it starts to cool. The melted lignin now solidifies and binds the material together once it is cooled to room temperature. The key items in a complete pellet plant are the choppers and grinders used to reduce big wood or plant material into sawdust. Then the raw material is run through a magnetic filter to remove any iron based foreign object before sending the raw material to the dryer which burns a little of your raw material to dry the rest of it. Once it comes out of the dryer it goes into a conditioner where it is mixed with a little steam to achive that magic 15% moisture content, plus any binders, some farmers add corn meal, or corn startch, or molasses or even parafin wax so they don't have to work so hard to get the moisture content perfect. Then the conditioner dumps the raw material into the hopper for the pellet mill where it is extruded from the small funnel shaped holes I mentioned earlier. When the pellets come out they are very hot, 350 to 400 degrees, that is why we use a cooling stage, it blows air thru the pellets and removes any excess moisture and it cools the pellets down to room temperature. The cooled pellets are then run through a shaker seive that pushes the perfect pellets to the bagging machine which weighs each bag of pellets and closes them. The raw material you feed into the pellet plant is worth very little, it may even have a negative value because you have to pay to put it in the dump. Once it is pelletized the same material is now worth 200 dollars per ton wholesale, and 280.00 retail. The costs should add up to about 86.00 per ton to make the pellets. The better pellet plants should pay for themselves in 90 to 120 days of 24 hour operation. This biomass pellet plant model C22 consists of a hammer mill, screw conveyor, pellet mill, cooling system, vibrating screener, air driven conveying system, and dust collector. It can be easily moved as needed to be near the raw material and thus reduce transportation costs for the raw material. It is an excellent choice for a farm or independant recycling contractor. Other products may that may be needed are: 1. A drier if your raw material has a moisture content rating above 15% 2. A generator if you do not have access to electricity at your location 3. A packaging system if you do not have a bulk storage capability. I can also provide those products if needed. This portable, turn key plant will produce approximately 660 pounds per hour of wood pellets. It may produce more volume depending on your feed stock. Wood is the most difficult, grain is the easiest. This plant requires 43.5 KW of 3 phase power to operate. Operational dimensions are 14 feet long, 7.1 feet wide, and 14.1 feet tall. It is mounted on a steel base and you will have to remove the Cyclon stacks to move it down the road in most cases. You will have to supply your own trailer. The pellets produced by this plant have a density of 1100KGS per cubic meter and the pellet size is determined by which size die you choose. The warranty period for this plant is 6 months and does not include the common wear items such as the rollers and ring die. Unless otherwise specified, it will come with a 6mm die. Delivery time is 60 to days to the port of Tacoma. Buy it now as the price may soon go up due to the rising cost of fuel and steel. I can also provide plants with much higher capacity, please feel free to request a bid based on your needs. Sorry, no paypal on this or any other pellet products I sell. Give me a call at 1-907-952-1903 or better yet, email me at dapted@customcpu.com. (I run a computer store in real life) Brokering these pellet products is just a part time gig at the moment. Plan on 4 to 5 thousand dollars to ship this to most US locations and allow 60 to 75 days for delivery since it is comming from China. Due to its size and expense of shipping don't plan on any refunds, instead if you need a refund, let me know and I will try to help you sell your product. (so far nobody has, knock on wood) This product has a one year warranty that starts the day it is delivered to you and will be extended if you experience a covered breakdown. Damage due to misuse, abuse, or foreign objects are not covered. Thanks for looking at my products. Dan
