Our business is operating and servicing these machines.  We know them inside and out.  Anyone interested in these machines should be careful when buying used machines.  Many machines that we see that are sold are not upgraded to take five dollar bills & most won't take the "new" 2008 $5.00 bill. This upgrade alone can cost up to $150.  Also we see machines that do not have upgraded control boards, which don’t give you all the functions, needed to vend bait efficiently.  An upgraded control board will cost over $100 if you can find a place that will do it.  We make sure all these upgrades are made before we sell any of our machines.  The only way these machines will make you money is if they are working properly, and we make sure they are.  Be very careful when purchasing someone's  machine who isn't operating it any more. Chances are it will need a lot of work to get it out on location.  Make sure it cools and make sure all the vend motors work. Ask how much rust is on the machine. Our machines have all of this taken care of. These machine can make very good money when working properly.
