Lighted Outdoor Sign Start Price USD 2,500.00 Current Price USD 2,500.00 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price USD 3,000.00 Reserve Price - Start Time Sunday, October 05, 2008 End Time Sunday, October 12, 2008 Location ONALASKA, WI See more about 'Lighted Outdoor Sign' Description Up for auction is a sign that I purchased for my business.  I purchased it a few years ago from a grocery store that was going out of business.  My local village will not permit me to install this sign, so it's got to go.  There are three large pieces to the sign.  The first is a set of two 8" by 8" by 12 feet long, square, heavy duty tubing posts that can go into holes in the ground or can be welded to additional pieces to make it the height you desire.  Attached to this part are 2 smaller cabinets which measure 18" by 96".  One has the word "PHARMACY" displayed on it. The other needs new vinyl lenses to meet your needs.  The second part is the electronic message center.  This huge message center measures 4 feet by 14 feet.  It is controlled by a personal computer (included) as well as the software to run the message center.  Since I have not installed the sign, I am unfamiliar with how it works but I saw it in operation before I had it taken down.  It has hundreds of light bulbs which light up as required to diplay the desire words.  Each side of the two sided display center has 4 banks of bulbs.  Each bank has 16 rows of 16 bulbs (156 in each bank)  A third part is a large stationary square sign that mounts above the message center.  It measures approximately 8'4" by 9'6".  It has a canvas type face that was painted black over the grocery store logo.  I think you will need to replace this with your own designed logo on new canvas.  The cabinet is in very good condition.  You would likely want to paint it after you put it together.  Lastly, there is a box what I believe to be is a modem that receives the information from the computer to make the message display properly.  This part has an air conditioner in it as well to keep it cool. This cabinet on top alone is probably worth the as much as I am asking for the entire set.  Plus you get a changable message center, the two poles, an additional cabinet, the computer, and modem (receiver) with air conditioner.
