Due to health reason we aselling our business here on Stockton lake Missouri, the store is located at the dam entrance, perfectly located on the lake, tons of traffic. We have the largest supply of bait/tackle inventory (over $140,000) invested in stock. This is a retail and wholesale store, we sell to the other tackle stores here on the lake, and also at Warsaw and Clinton. (16) stores for wholesaling. The building was built new in 2004. all metal with wood framing, large storage areas for wholesale, boat repair or cleanup. The building is 3000 sq ft sitting on 3/4 acreas, taxes are around $800.00 per year. We are not in the city limits so you dont need to worry about city water, it is a shared well which is new, water bill is only $25 per month no matter what usage. All supplies will stay with store along with inventory eccept the decor on the walls. Fishing is a full year around sport here, weather is very nice, walleye, crappie, bass, catfishig is perfect for the lake. You won't find any junk in our store, the only thing we stock for retail is what the guys use here on the lake. If a person would put in beer and tabacco sales you would double your profits, we didnt as our girls worked here for us and they are under age to sell such items. Over 500 nip weights, over 1500 eagle claw bobbers, bulk and individual, hooks ranging from trout size to 13/0 catfish. Cases of catfish bait, case lots of the following: wights, bobbers, hooks, airators, fillet knives, pliers, anything you can imagine in terminal tackle. ALL items in case lots and most of the retail are less them 90 days old directly from the factory, all of our products are factory, no repacks of anything. Our last inventory included $19000 in quantum, $16000 eagle claw, 13000 zebco, not to mention appr $7800 in Bobby Garland/Gene Larue baits. Most of the crank bait are Bandit, smithwick, rapala, rebel, frenzy, cotton cordell, storm, and lucky craft. We will be leaaving all show cases, cash register, credit debit machine, bait tanks, shelving, books and manuals, inventory, The only thing that we do not own in the store is the pepsi fountain machine, pepsi cooler, microwave (landshires), ice machine (stockton ice company), they will be left fro you use though through the companies. We have grown so much over the past year it is unreal, don't worry, you wont have any competition from the other bait stores, a small gas station is located 5 miles from town to the south but it is not much for a bait store. Also we have a website which will be turned over to you for your ownership, it gets alot of traffic through it. A guide service through the store is avalible through specialized guide service (les Jarman) who has been at the lake guiding now for 30 years +. he is a great guide and can bring you lots of business through his contacts at the Kansas City Star newspaper and so forth. I would stay away from the local guys who make lures, they are junk, stick with the name brand as we have done and you will get alot of business. By adding beer, tobbaco and Liquer you would increase sales by doubling it, we couldnt as our daughters worked for us. This is a very resonable sale for a store of this type and location, we just cannot do it any longer due to health reasons.
