Drift is not more than 0.01dB in 3 hours in room temperature, it is comparable or probably better than general spec of HP, EXFO benchtop laser source instrument. The tested peak wavelengths match the original product label well.   Tested laser output power on two instruments (test condition: warm-up is not enough for laser source and power meter, but tested result should be close to long-term result). Instrument 1: 0.06dBm at 1.55um, -0.58dBm at 1.31um. Instrument 2: 0.7dBm at 1.55um, 0.7dBm at 1.31um.   You can select wavelength between 1.31um and 1.55um at the front panel of the instrument. Further more, instrument 1 can also allow both wavelengths transmitting at output. There are two 1x1 optical switches plus one 3-dB optical coupler inside instrument 2 and one 1x2 optical switch inside the instrument 1 to select 1.31um and 1.55um laser. The lasers are driven  by a stabilized linear regulator.   Original tested optical spectrum result by JDS is labelled on instrument 2. We approximately confirmed this result and also verified the optical spectrum shape in instrument 1 is similar.   We can test more detailed information upon request, such long term power stability, optical spectrum.   AC input: 110, 120, 220, 240V, 50/60Hz. 120V is standard option. Upon your request, we can change to other AC input voltage option by re-wiring inside instrument. A power power cord will be attached.   Net weight: 4.4kg.
