Here's What Robin Had to Say About the Master Cleanse in a interview for People Magazine:"This is my way of life now," she says. "I don't ever want to feel the way I felt ever again." "This wasn't about weight loss," says Quivers, who traces her health problems to steroid-based medication that she took in 1989 to regulate her menstrual cycle, "I was really trying to regain my health, and that's what it did." "She's a whole different person, "says Howard Stern producer Gary Dell'Abate, "I've been with her 20 years, and I've never seen her this happy and confident." ~ People Magazine, April 2004 If you're sick & tired of being sick & tired,SHUT UP & READ, January 22, 2000 By RS Newman Modesto, California If you don't know how to read, ask someone to read it to you.Who knows? The worst thing that could result is that both of you might get healthier than you've ever been in your entire life!God forbid. Seriously though,if you choose not to practice any other part of this book, look into the section called THE MASTER CLEANSER .Not only will this cleansing fast heal you of most diseases,(provided irreparable damage has not already taken place)it will also prevent any diseases from occurring.Try it you'll like it! Cleansing of your digestive track, October 1, 2004 By MJK Detroit, MI Stanley Burroughs has something here... Several of us our following this lemonade diet. I am on day 6 of the cleansing. Another friend is now coming off the diet. We have lost weight, feel great, look healthier and see the difference in our skin, eyes and energy. Most important to stress - - we were NOT hungry doing this regimen. Anyone who says it's hard, or unable to make it through at least 3 or 4 days, is definitely out of control with their eating habits. This has been incredibly easy to follow. The most important thing is to not cheat on it... if you do, your destined to diarrhea and/or major gastrointestinal upset. One person decided to go out on day 12 and eat a normal meal as he'd done before... it did not agree with him. He is doing a second cleanse and is going off this cleanse the recommended way this time. I have more energy, have been sleeping better, and have lost over 6 pounds. If you need to lose weight, you can lose up to 2 pounds per day on this regimen. It is not difficult or unsafe in my opinion. I now believe it may be more risky to take all those medications out there to heal you of an ailment than to try this for 14 days. I recommend that all Americans try this at least once in their lives. You will be amazed how you feel after only a couple of days! A Great Healer, March 22, 2004 By A Customer Stanley Burroughs was a great healer, not a murderer. He healed many people of very serious conditions in his lifetime, and was ahead of his time with his healing methods. Perhaps the reviewer who cites the trial of Burroughs should think about all the drug companies and hospitals that have people dying with their treatment. His Master Cleanser alone has turned people's lives around. All I can say that it is far safer than most of the drugs out there. A safe conservative course of action, November 4, 2004 By Art Simkins Riverside CA After reading some of the "fright" reviews I had to add my 2 cents in. This book by Stanley Burroughs has useful methods to allow the body to heal itself. This is a conservative, time honored way to health and healing. His ideas were not particulary new or extreme. They can be found in many books on naturopathy, herbal healing, fasting etc. His Master Cleanser is still used by naturopaths and nutritionally oriented doctors.People have used these concepts or variations of them around the world for centuries. For those interested in such topics this is a good book to add to their collection. Another good book on this subject is The Amazing Liver Cleanse by Moritz. Healing for the Age of Enlightenment, May 9, 2007 By Carolyn A. Martin Pueblo, CO You might just want to spend a lot less money and get The Master Cleanser book. After 2 days on the cleanse, I woke up able to breathe through both nostrils for the first time in memory and became an avid proponent of his concepts. My lymph system is much better too. If you are interested in learning Vita Flex, then you need to get this book. Even though I've experienced great value from Vita Flex treatments via a chiropractor, the warnings of injuring yourself or someone else if not performed correctly were enough to dissuade me from attempting it. There was a recipe for eyedrops in that part of the book that claimed to heal cataracts and many other eye ailments. If true, that alone would be worth the price of the book. And the color theory part of the book is largely a rewrite of Let There Be Light by Darius Dinshah which I already had and is readily available from the Dinshah Society. Personally, I prefer to ignore all those complicated toning schedules and use infrared/far infrared heat lamps when you can't sunbathe. I say throw the whole spectrum at the body and let it take whatever it needs. Burroughs thoroughly disagrees. I'm okay with that, but it doesn't change my opinion. PUBLIC NOTICE RE: Ulysses Press 510/601-8301 Fax: 510/601-8307 uLysses@u!yssespress.com March 3, 2007 P.O. Box 3440 Berkelc:>'. California 94703-3440 Dear Mrs. Burroughs, By way of introduction, I am the editor at Ulysses Press who has been talking with Tom Woloshyn about publishing a new book on the Master Cleanse. Tom told me that you have some questions about the project. I'd love to talk with you personally to discuss any concerns you may have. Please feel free to call me anytime at (510) 601-8301. You may also email me at “nickdentonbrown@ulyssespress.com” Perhaps I should explain how the idea for this project came about and how we would structure the book to differentiate it from the original Master Cleanser by your late husband. I first heard about the Master Cleanse about a year ago and was amazed at how many people seemed to benefit from it. I was further amazed that so little had been written on the to ic. The Master Cleanse seemed very much to e a grassroots movement gathering tremendous steam. It was then that I contact Tom Woloshyn to discuss the cleanse with him. What emerged from our conversation was that the Master Cleanse, if done properly, changes people's lives. The problem, however, is that there is so much disinformation out there. Many people don't fully understand the cleanse, and they do it improperly, sometimes causing themselves bodily harm. We want this new book to more fully explain the nuances of the Master Cleanse, to make sure that people completely understand it, follow it correctly, receive its full benefits, and don't cause themselves any harm. In this way, we believe that the book will serve as a companion text to the original Master Cleanser, much in the way that an annotated reference guide to any great work serves as a companion text. It's worth noting that such reference guides are almost always used as supplements to the original work, and rarely detract interest or sales from the originals. In fact, if anything, these works tend to bring greater and renewed attention to the originals. Within the text of our book we will frequently reference Stanley Burrough's work and encourage people to return to the original source. We will do this not just for Stanley's work on the Master Cleanse, but also for his work with Color Therapy and Vita-Flex. This should create increased interest in Stanley's entire body of work. Perhaps the most important reason why we think that our book will not compete with Stanley's is that the core audience for our book will be one already extremely familiar with the Master Cleanse: people who have previously bought Stanley's book, tried the cleanse, and now want to know more about it. We believe this because the average consumer simply wants to know how to do the cleanse. He or she doesn't care about how or why it works. They just want to know how to do it. If this is the case, the average consumer will choose to purchase the original Master Cleanser because it is more how-to oriented and significantly less expensive than our book, and it's the original and most well-known work on the subje~t. If they like Stanley's Master Cleanser, they may then graduate to our book at some point in the future. When our book is released, newspapers and magazines will have new reason to shine their spotlights on the Master Cleanse, which should spur further interest in your husband's work. I hope this helps to assuage some of your concerns, though you may have other questions. Why don't we plan to talk soon to discuss the project and how we can ensure that your best interests are preserved and protected. I look forward to speaking with you soon. Best wishes, Nick Denton-Brown public notice This letter was sent to Miss Burroughs after she denied copyright use of Stanleys Burroughs works to be used to create a book by Tom Woloshyn called "The Complete Master Cleanse", Ulysses press and Tom Woloshyn have denied any copyright violations. Ulysses contacted Woloshyn (as I heard 3rd hand) and asked Woloshyn if he would write a book that would some how update or improve upon the Master Cleanser by Stanley Burroughs. Woloshyn's reply was that Burroughs Master Cleanser and Healing for the age of Enlightenment could not be improved or updated that it was complete!!! So why was this book created and titled "The Complete Master Cleanse"? And notice how the title is the same as "The Master Cleanser" with the word 'complete' added and the letter 'r' droped from Cleanser! Stanley Burroughs named his book "The Master Cleanser" because cleanser is a substance used for cleansing but to cleanse yourself is to make clean or pure to feel cleansed of sin so is Ulysses press just trying to cash in on the detox movement, (no pun intended) and they and many others are trying to steal Burroughs works and call it there own by creating there books and web sites to take advantage of the public. Theres a nut out there that has a website claiming to offer you the "mastercleansesecrets"! Healing for the Age of Enlightenment is the complete works of Stanley Burroughs yet most people only know about "The Master Cleanser", so if you want the complete works of Stanley Burroughs then you need to purchase "Healing for the Age of Enlightenment".
