These fonts were digitized and sold from the late 1980's through the present by our company and we are now offering them on ebay to the luckiest bidder. The CD contains approximately 320+ fonts that can be used by any sign making shop using Gerber Graphix Advantage or Omega signmaking software. You simply follow the installation instructions on the inside jacket of the CD and you're ready to cut vinyl lettering. You can also make routed and sandblasted signs or simply use the fonts for making templates. This entire collection was digitized by Star Point Fonts, a subsidiary of Milt's Sign Service, Inc. and is on this CD. There are connecting scripts, casual, decorative, headline as well as standard typefaces. At one time these fonts sold for as much as $50.00 each but now...thanks to modern technology....we can offer our product at a much lower price. We have sold these fonts to signmakers world wide using the Gerber Graphix Advantage and Omega system and all who use our fonts have loved them. ***THESE FONTS WILL NOT WORK WITH THE Signmaker IV B. OVERVIEW OF FONT INSTALLATION PROCEDURE: In the following, we assume your program is located on your C: drive and within the GSP folder.  If it is located on another drive or folder, simply substitute where applicable.You must have Gerber's software which contains the "Font Designer" program.  It is included with Graphix Advantage and Omega.  However, it is not included with the "barebones" versions.  Consult Gerber to find out if you've got this program.  The file is called "fontmakr.exe" and can be found in the C:\GSP\SOFTWARE folder.  Gerber fonts are serialized to one particular machine so we cannot and will not sell the font files directly.  However, we can and do sell the necessary files for you to compile your own serialized version of the font file.  This is done by simply running the Font Designer program and clicking your mouse a few times.  It takes less than one minute to install one font.  If you are proficient in Windows, it takes less than 30 seconds.  What we furnish you are approximately 320 different font folders each containing the pertinent letter forms for that particular font.  For example...if you wish to install the font called Berkeley Old Style Black, you would copy the font folder and files within that folder to your computer.  This is done by starting Windows Explorer and simply dragging the folder from our CD to your C:\JOBS folder.  You drag the folder and that will copy the folder and the files within that folder into your C:\JOBS folder.  This takes about ten seconds or less.  Once the font folder and the files within that folder are on your hard drive, you must make sure the files aren't marked Read Only.  This is done by using the Properties function under the FILE drop down menu in Windows Explorer.  Select all of our files within the font folder you just copied and then click on FILE, then Properties.  If the READ ONLY box is checked, simply click on it to UNCHECK it.  If it is unchecked already, you can skip this step.  Next you will run your FONT DESIGNER program and then simply follow the directions on the inside cover of our CD.  FONT DESIGNER takes all the characters included with that font and compiles them into one font file that will appear in your list of fonts in Composer.  This process takes another ten seconds.  Once you become familiar with this routine, you should be able to install a font in 20 seconds with no problem.  After the font is installed, you will want to delete the folder you just copied into the C:\JOBS folder because FONT DESIGNER will have made YOUR SERIALIZED FONT and placed it within your own FONT FOLDER.  Your new font can be found in C:\GSP\GSPFONTS along with the fonts you already have.  Our fonts will then appear in your font list in Composer and our fonts will be grouped ahead of Gerbers fonts.  Our fonts can be recognized because their names all begin with a "0".  Your new Berkeley Old Style Black font will be found as 0BERKELEY OLD STYLE BLACK SPF and will be the first font in your font file list.  The next time you open Composer, it will be there!We do get calls from time to time from inexperienced Windows users.  The most common problem is that these users aren't familiar with the Windows operating system and in particular...Windows Explorer.  You must have Windows Explorer configured to SHOW ALL FILES and HIDE NOTHING.  Once your copy of Windows Explorer is configured this way, you will see ALL the files.  If you do not do this, you will not see ALL the files and will have problems.  We are delighted we can offer you the opportunity to use our wonderful fonts in creating your sign layouts.  Once you see and use our fonts, you will believe this is the best purchase you've ever made.  If you paid $300 for this CD, the fonts will have cost you less than $1 each.  If you paid less than $100, you just may feel a bit guilty but again, we are happy to provide our service.Should you find it necessary to need Technical Support, we are always available and our phone number is on the CD cover.  There will be a $35 charge for this service and we will stay on the phone until you understand how to install these fonts yourself.  Again, to repeat...most calls are because the user (that's you) doesn't have Windows Explorer configured properly or hasn't read and followed the instructions on the CD cover.  We have sold thousands of our fonts all over the world and we can assure you they do work...and they do work well.  Once you use them, you will be delighted.
