Description
Rig located and currently drilling in Brown County, Texas (Near Abilene)1. Drilling Rig Component (Total Weight 57,000 Pounds) a. Mounted on single-axle, dual wheel (New tires 2008) 30-foot x 96-inch trailer with pin for fifth wheel. Has manual support legs (dolly) and four hydraulic leveling jacks. Diesel fuel tank (100 gallons) mounted on front of trailer. Equipped with single-axle converter dolly to pull in field with bulldozer. b. Drawworks - Franks 2000, single drum, 40-inch x 12-inch drum with 24-inch flanges, ¾-inch Lebus grooving, twin 4-inch band brakes. Runs by right-angle drive off transmission behind deck engine, with hydraulic clutch. Rigged with ¾-inch drill line (New 2008) and Crown (Martin Decker) deflection type weight indicator (New 2008). c. Deck Engine – Detroit Diesel 471, 140 horsepower, with belt-driven hydraulic pump for rig accessories and clutches, and belt-driven alternator. Direct drive to drawworks through manual 5-speed transmission with hydraulic clutch and right-angle gear box. d. Mast – 55-foot high x 8-foot wide base rated at 80,000 pounds with racking board for single drillpipe. Hydraulically raised and lowered (Rebuilt 2008 with control valves added). Three sheave crown block with catline or auxiliary winch sheave (Rebuilt 2008). Has 2-inch standpipe with Cameron-type pressure gauge. e. Auxiliary Winch – Electric 8,000 pound pull with 3/8-inch line (New 2008). Rigged up for single line or double line with McKissick 8-ton block. f. Rotary Table – Hacker Model 12-6 (12 1/2-inch opening) with bushing for slips. Auxiliary rotary drive and bushing for drilling rat hole.2. Traveling Equipment and Tools (Total Weight 6,000 Pounds). a. BJ three sheave 50-ton block with integral hook and safety latch. Can be rigged up on four or six lines. b. Warren side-entry swivel with 2-inch I.D. x 3,000 psi x 27-foot rotary hose, with bale on top (New hose 2008). c. Elevator bales, 1 1/4-inch x 24-inch forged endless links. d. Elevator, square shoulder x 3 ½-inch for drillpipe (New 2008). e. Elevator, square shoulder x 4 ½-inch for casing (New 2008). f. Elevator, square shoulder x 8 5/8-inch for casing. g. Slips, 3 ½-inch to 5-inch drillcollar type for drillpipe and for 4 ½-inch casing. h. Slips, 8 5/8-inch casing. i. Drillpipe tongs, Web Wilson Type D, with heads for 3 ½-inch to 9 5/8-inch. Tongs are operated by hydraulic cylinder. j. Kelly, 40-foot x 4 ¼-inch. Kelly has rat-hole casing/storage shuck. k. Drillpipe safety valve with 3 1/2 FH box and pin (New 2008). l. Wash down subs for 3 ½-inch drillpipe, 4 ½-inch casing, and 8 5/8-inch casing. m. Drillcollar safety clamp, Type C (New 2008). n. Bits – miscellaneous (12 ¼-inch, 11-inch tooth (New – unused both), 6 ¾-inch (tooth and button). o. Tong line pull indicator – Crown (Martin Decker) (New 2008).3. Mud Pump (Total Weight 37,000 Pounds) a. National-Ideal C-150-B, 7 ½ x 14, Mounted on 30-foot x 96-inch skid on low-boy trailer (New tires 2008), with Detroit Diesel 8V71 with manual clutch and 400 gallon diesel fuel tank. Suction boom with 8-inch hose and 2-inch discharge with pulsation air chamber and relief valve (New pump expendables and relief valve 2008). 4. Dog House (Total Weight 5,000 Pounds With Stored Tools). a. Steel 6-foot x 12-foot, skid mounted, with lockers, tool boxes, and work table. b. Double external/internal locking door.5. Drill String (Total Weight 26,000 Pounds) a. Drillpipe – 60 joints (1,800-feet) of 3 ½-inch x 13.3 ppf, square shoulder (slim hole 4 ½-inch tool joint O.D.), Range 2, with 3 ½-inch FH connections (50% + remaining). b. Drillcollars – Ten (10) 4 7/8-inch x 2 ½-inch slick collars with 4-inch FH connections. Collars are 25 feet long and have lift subs for handling. c. Bit Sub – 4 1/2 API Regular box bored for 4R float x 4-inch FH box. d. Bit Sub 3 1/2-inch API Regular box bored for 3R float x 4-inch FH box. e. Bit Sub 6 5/8-inch API Regular box bored for 6R float x 4-inch FH box. f. Safety Valve – WNCO WN-1 with 3 ½ FH box and pin, with closing wrench. g. Crossover sub – 3 ½-inch FH box x 4-inch FH pin (Two, one new 2008). h. Lift bails – male, female (six total) – for bits, drillcollars, and pipe. (New 2008). i. Drillpipe Wiper Rubber (New 2008). j. Bit Breaker – combination 12 ¼-inch to 6 ½-inch (New 2008).6. Miscellaneous a. Pipe tub – 35-foot x 8-foot. b. Water Pump – 2-inch trash pump powered by gasoline engine, with 200 feet of 2-inch hard suction/discharge hose. c. Welding Machine/Generator (Miller Bobcat 225 – New 2008) and Cutting Torch (New 2008) mounted on rig trailer deck. d. Hand, power tools, hydraulic jacks, and pipe wrenches (ten (10), Ridgid and others – aluminum and steel (18-inch through 60-inch). e. Mud pump expendables (U.S. – API) – one set (rods, pistons (5 ½-inch), valves, seats), and seat and liner puller (New 2008).
