This LumberMate ™ 2000 is equipped with the 23hp Briggs & Stratton Vanguard V-twin engine, optional trailer package, log loader/repositioning package, 4-foot bed extension and set of 10 leveling feet. This LumberMate™ 2000 can handle logs up to 31” in diameter and cut boards up to 24” wide and 17 feet long (with the included 4-ft bed extension). It mills both hardwood and softwood accurately to 1/32nd of an inch. Its rigid all-steel bed provides a solid base for accurate sawing. For superior rust-resistance, the twin 2 ½” x 8” debossed steel rails are galvanized and the carriage, sawhead and 3” x 6” steel box-beam bed cross-members are powder-coated. One person can easily and accurately mill lumber with the LumberMate™. You move the saw head manually up and down with fingertip pressure. Manually feeding the saw head allows you to easily judge the best speed to accurately cut through knots and denser core-woods.
