SquareTrade © AP6.0 Artist-Designed Letterpress Printers Block Composition Photographs for this listing are on the right > This listing is for one Artist-designed Printers Block mosaic, This mosaic is a unique and one of a kind piece of art, designed and created by our Artist. Each printers block is hand-picked for just the right size, shape and patina. Our artist has skill like no other in placing and assembling these mosaics - She has hand-signed and dated the tray, on the back. The vintage and antique printers blocks are set into a nice metal tray and are not removable. Printers blocks were used in letterpress printing presses for many years - since they were used to print, many have very unique colors and patina. This piece of art measures approximately 14 13/16 tall (not including handles) by 10 15/16 inches wide. The height measurement is approximately 18 3/8 inches tall, measuring from the edges of the handles - we have attached two "Heavy-Duty Hangers" on the back of of the piece for sturdy wall hanging - while some prefer hanging on two wall screws or hooks, we include some picture wire in case that is the desired method. Two felt pads are attached to the bottom where the wall would contact the corners. Vintage Italian Cotton string and two vintage Rosette molds adorn the top handle.
