Attn: E-Bay - The auction is for a "real" and "Tangible" item. The winner of this auction will receive a Personally written and signed letter of Appreciation. Are you a Philanthropist or someone who wants to help they're fellow Man? Let me tell you about myself, I am from the San Francisco Bay Area, No other part of the Country has been hit harder than the Bay I think, recently I was laid off from a Job I planned to spend the rest of my life working for and retiring, that all changed with this new economy and cut backs had to be made. I was collecting unemployment for a couple months until the EDD decided to stop my checks because I turned down a Two Day Job.....I had to go 5 weeks without an income, no matter how hard I tried I could not get a job, I was applying for everything and no one was hiring, I had to borrow thousands from Friends and family, now I'm working and it's not enough to pay my monthly bills and support my Wife and Child. I did not qualify for any help including General Assistance, Food Stamps, or Medi-Cal. I don't know how others get it but I've been working my whole life and when the time came for an extention of help, the universe did'nt provide. I don't know how I'll ever pay back the money I owe, pay my bills and save for our future, so I'm reaching out to someone here on e-bay who wants to do something extrordinary. If it was me on the other side of this auction and I had millions of dollars, I would want to do something spontaneous and magical and help a total stranger and give them a new lease on life, a gift like this would echo through the masses and cause a chain reaction of others helping others. The older I get the less I want for myself and the more I want to give to my wife and child, they deserve so much more and yet I am helpless against this economy. A gift like this would allow us to get the car that we need big enough for a family, and put a down payment on a fixer upper or bank repo (there are alot of bank repos in my local area). Maybe someone reading this has no problem spending the same amount of money on a new watch, or another piece of art, I'd like to appeal to your humanity and ask you to help someone, someone like me who has put him self out there and just wants to help his family. I'm sure you can understand my need to provide. Can you spare this type of money? Do you want to help someone just for the sake of helping?
