When my helper removed the siding the only words that came out of his mouth were, "wow, these logs are absolutely beautiful". The log walls are approximately 11 feet tall. The total size of the log structures is approximately 16' x 33'. The structure as shown in these photos is approximately 16' x 42'. There are two interior log walls so this is essentially two log homes that were connected. I have been told that it is solid walnut. A few people that stopped to look at it think some of the logs are red oak so it may be a mix. I have had more feedback that it is walnut which will be absolutely stunning when restored. I do not have any interior photos, but as you can imagine, the interior log walls are in excellent shape. The log home is being taken down, numbered, diagramed, and stored near Rockford, IL. The gentleman I worked with to take it down wants to help the buyer set it back up. He will also help with shipping. Shipping will be at the buyers expense. I do not have the weight of this structure but obviously it is quite heavy. I'm guessing shipping will be $1000 to $4000 in the US.
