The rotary and tilt are numerically controlled and the final positions are determined by highly accurate Farrand Inductosyn feedback devices. It was part of the total package when the G&L CNC HBM was purchased new at the end of 1999. Installed  2000.   The table is intergrated into the G&L Control. G&L used Siemens drives (SIMODRIVE 611) and the servos on the table are Siemens model 1FT5102-0AC71-1-Z servos.   It was recently replaced with a new table as a new, larger product line required more weight capacity. The cost of the new table was close to $500,000.
