Description
Up for auction is this very rare unit consisting of an IH 560 Farmall tractor and this near perfect IH #234 mounted 2-row corn picker. The unit has been in storage for the past few years and I have decided to sell it. I got it out of the shed and washed the dust off it and as you can see in the pictures the unit cleaned up very nice. I have all the original books for the corn picker yet. This includes the Owner's Operator's Manual and also the Installation and Mounting Manual. This is a very nice original prize piece of International Harvestor History. You will not find another in this condition. Most corn pickers have been scrapped out to gain extra room in the shed and for some extra cash. Others have just been taken off outside and have been sitting there for years and are all rusted away by now. This one happens to be like new yet so letting the bidding start. Condition of the Corn Picker: This corn picker is as close to new as you will find one. It is used, but is in near perfect shape. It works like a new one and is ready to start picking this year's crop. You will have to do nothing to this picker. It is ready to go to work for you. The corn picker has never sat a night outside of the shed in its life. You cannot appreciate the shape of this picker until you see it for yourself. The picker is not restored or repainted. It is in original condition like you see it. Notice all the decals and stickers are still in place and look new yet. The tractor is even equipped with the M&W Super Snoot and is in perfect condition. Condition of the Tractor: This IH 560 Farmall tractor is in good shape as well. It starts and runs good. It is running in all the pictures. The oil pressure stays way over like it should as you can see in the pictures. The tractor does not smoke or take any oil. The power steering works good. The torque amplifier is good and has never slipped on me, but due to the age of the tractor I will not guarantee it. The gears and transmission are all good with no unusual noises. The brakes work ok. The clutch works good, but is tightened about as far as you can adjust it. The tractor is equipped with a 2-point fast hitch. The corn picker is attached to it and lowers and raises with the fast hitch. I have all the original parts of the fast hitch in the shed to put it back to complete except for the drawbar insert if you wanted to take the picker off. The hydraulics and pto work good. The lights do not work and the generator works some times. Maybe just the guage is going bad. I am not for sure. The tires all hold air good, but are age cracked. Please feel free to ask any further questions you might have on either the corn picker or the tractor. You can either email them to me or just give me a call at 712-754-4312. I can take a few more pictures of the unit if you would like some more. Also feel free to view this tractor and picker if you desire. I am located near Luverne, MN 56156. Luverne is located in the very SW corner of MN. Just a few miles from the bordering states of IA and SD. I expect full payment within ten days of auction end or item will be relisted. I prefer cash in person when you come to pick the unit up as the most desired method of payment. I will also accept check or money order, but you must wait to pick up until after the bank has cleared payment. I will also accept paypal as a last resort method of payment due to the extra fees. Thanks for understanding and good luck. Please contact me after auction ends so we can discuss what payment method works best for both parties. Thanks
