The shaft diameter is 6mm, this is roughly the standard 1/4 inch shaft. The whole shaft is hollow. No knobs attached. You'll need 10mm (that's about 3/8 inch) hole in the chassis in order to mount the switches. M10 mounting nuts attached.The switches are made in Russia for military, notice the individual hand markering.
