The machine has 6 axis of motion. However, the 5th and 6th axis were custom built; supplied with a delivery system for very small diameter parts. The machine has a 30" diameter capacity, but you can not get 30 inches if you use the 5th and 6th axis. To get 30" diameter you could only use four axis of motion. The buyer would most likely not use the custom 5th and 6th axis and would want Entec to make changes to it to run four axis and get the full 30 inches diameter. This is accomplished by rotating the mandrel while a delivery head precisely positions fibers on the mandrel surface.
