Description
PASSED CA INSPECTIONS WHICH IS ONE OF THE HARDEST STATES TO PASS CODE IN WHICH MEANS IT WILL PASS OTHER STATES ALSO!! This Concession trailer is not brand new but when we bought it a few years ago we paid $24,000 for it but have reduced the price because we had our fun with it selling our food and also because you might want to add something more to the trailer. ( you might want to upgrade theVentilation hood system.) This hood system works great but you might want a larger system which you can buy used at a reasonable price from a resturant wholeseller. This griddle is not an open flame so our equalization board did not require the fire suppression system over the hood but check for your own code. and even though it's not as pretty as those brand new $38,00 stainless steel babies which haven't passed all the CA inspections at the time of buying it does it's job as far as selling food. (Beware in CA there are very strict Environmental Health codes that have to be followed to pass inspection to be allowed to sell ). I know of one fellow here in Imperial County who had a concession trailer custom built for over $50,000 in Utah and didn't bother to look into CA Environmental Health codes as far as the building of the trailer to be allowed to sell here in CA and to this day has not been passed to sell publicly with a lic.in CA. And don't forget even if you spend all that money for a brand new trailer you still have to pay fees to pass State and County inspections. with this trailer is already has the life long state tag which means it doesn't have to pass this inspection again....And even if you do not want to sell in CA you will pass all other states because CA is one of the strictest states to pass code in. But back to what I have to say in my description IF YOU DECIDED TO BUY THIS AND WILL BE SELLING IN IMPERIAL COUNTY WE WILL GIVE YOU THE NAME OF OUR COMMISSARY WE ARE IN CONNECTION WITH... We have used this food concession trailer at the Glamis desert, street fairs and catering . But, we realized we are getting older and want to relax with life so time to pass this food wagon on to some one else . This sweet trailer passed all California environmental Health inspections which easily allowed us to sell in Imperial County at Glamis (In the winter there are 100,000's of promising customers that come to ride their toys) (which there are many many requirements to pass for Glamis and we easily passed all of them). It also has the life long California state tag Which is a big plus compared to a brand new food wagon which will have to pass this inspection (I know I am repeating myself but this is important to think about). There are many many outlets that come with this trailer and of course the required 3 sinks and the hand washing sink that is divided as required by environmental health division and has the 3 inch coved flooring, and the stipulated grey and fresh water tank plus there are two serving window both at the front and end and these windows which fall into the specified Parameters as far as width required by the CA enviromental Health office. We also added a 48 inch griddle to the wagon which allows, hamburgers to be fried, tortillas and buns to be warmed plus kept many of our dishes warm all at the same time. One thing I must let you know is that you may want to up grade the vent hood system. This one works really great but you might want a larger one which can be easily bought used for about $150. A few months ago we were selling in an RV camp and sold with great success, hamburgers, fries, taquitos and burritos along with rice and beans and had sufficient grill space and work space for all. Plus it was easy since all the ingredients complimented each other as far as prep. We also added a full refrigerator for all the condiments, meats etc. We are also adding a large 40 gallon propane tank. Please note this is an upgraded used wagon but which the pink slip says 2003. We are selling our wagon at a great price compared to the $460K it would probably cost to buy a new concession trailer then have to go through all the inspections. What a deal at $14,900 and what fun you could have in selling your food creations. We also are selling SEPARATELY a large 7000 Honda generator which can run the wagon please ask about it if you are interested. Please note this trailer is as is. Here are some questions that were asked and my answer. -what sizes are the fresh & grey water tanks? . It's the required CA code of 30/40. -does it have a vent/hood system? Yes, it has a vent hood system that works really great but you might want to upgrade to a larger system which would over lap this griddle which can easily be bought used for about $150 or less. This is not an open flame griddle. Again please note you may have to update the vent/hood system as it's been 2 years since it was last certified although we have our business operating lic. for this year from the Equalization board. -does it have a/c? Yes, it blows very strongly and is a coleman -is the refrigerator, a commercial one & what size? We bought a small full size refrigerator as that is the room we had In the trailer and it holds quiet a bit for storage. Most refrigerators can Be considered Commercial but we bought this from Home Depot brand new And it passed inspections. -is there an oven and/or stove top burners? There is no oven or Stove top burner as the griddle has four burners And can cook your food products like Stove top burners along with cooking meat products etc. -what make/model is the griddle & how old? It's a wytt champion cook series with 4 burners.and is commercial. It was the largest grill we could find and we paid about $1200 for it a 2 years ago. -does it have electric brakes? Yes, it has electric Brakes -what make/model is the trailer? Because it is an updated concession trailer the pink slip says varied. But it looks similar to a Cargo. . -do you know the approx weight of the trailer? The weight is about 3000 and it's 2 axle. We have a GMC half ton And it easily pulls the trailer. -what make/model & watt size is the generator being sold apart from the trailer; gas/diesel & how old and price? The Generator is a 7000 Honda heavy duty and is considered the quiet generator. It is gas. -any freezers? The only freezer is in the Fridge. But there is room at the front of the trailer for a small freezer. I replace our ration of food daily but I was able to store Several bags of fries, a box of hamburger patties and more. We Always sold close to home so could re-supply daily or as needed. Yes, we are including 2 fatigue mats and one large propane tank PLEASE NOTE I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THIS AUCTION EARLY IF SOLD IN MY LOCAL AREA... PLEASE NOTE THAT THE GENERATOR IS BEING SOLD SEPARATE...AND ALL SALES ARE FINAL AND THIS IS AS IS.. TERMS: $500.00 PAID THROUGH PAYPAL WITHIN 48 HOURS OF THE CLOSE OF THE AUCTION TO SHOW YOUR GOOD FAITH. BALANCE DUE AT TIME OF PICKUP IN THE FORM OF CERTIFIED CHECK OR CASH. I WILL NOT RELEASE THE UNIT UNTIL MY BANK VERIFIES AUTHENTIFICATION OF THE CERTIFIED CHECK. There are lots of pictures of the concession trailer below
